Challenging The Asian Big Data Market, “Etu” Leading The Way in Big Data Business Opportunity 2012/03/28

(2012.3.28) SYSTEX today (3/28) launched Asia's first Big Data end-to-end solution, “Etu ™ Appliance.” “Etu” is also SYSTEX’s own brand developed especially for the Big Data business with which it aspires to become the leader of Asia in Big Data solutions.

SYSTEX CEO, Frank Lin, expressed, “SYSTEX understands that Big Data is absolutely the key to future corporate growth. SYSTEX has set up the Big Data Division and invited people with years of experience and specialized technical background in big data processing to join our team. Operating from our dual bases in Taipei and Beijing, we provide customized consulting and end-to-end solution support. In the initial stage, we will mainly serve users in the cross-strait tri-area region that have massive data processing needs and try to achieve our ultimate goal of building the Etu brand into becoming the leading manufacturer of Big Data solutions in Asia.”

Fred Chiang, Head of the Cloud Center & Big Data Division, said, “Etu is SYSTEX’s brand name in the development of the Big Data business. The name comes from the Chinese words, ‘intent,’ which means we are ‘intent’ on finding the market and understanding the psychological needs of consumers. Through the “Etu ™ Appliance,” once the non-structural Big Data has been processed, easy to understand numbers and charts are created that will allow companies to uncover consumer’s untold needs or buying intention.”

The three main features of Etu's flagship product, “Etu ™ Appliance,” allows it to optimize the entire end-to-end Big Data processing, then extract valuable information from the massive volume of unstructured data so that companies can better understand market trends and customer needs through repeated questioning. The three features that will help businesses significantly improve their competitiveness are: public cloud level computing infrastructure, telecom grade system quality, and enterprise-level innovation performance.
